Cel p12a4

Anyone have any experience with this code?

P12A4 BMW - Absolute Pressure Sensor Intake Manifold Plausibility Intake Manifold Pressure Too Low

All I have done is a Dinan Elite and a large crack in my windshield
I have an 18 JCW Countryman...Manual!

The issue may be the Dinan.
i have heard of this before, and after doing a little google search, it appears that it’s an issue with the unit itself or the harness. Other MINI’s and a bunch of BMW forums have posts with the same issues.

What's weird is that the entire Dinan was replaced last year. I'm getting tired to changing it out.

The first time I got the code (this year) I cleared it to see what would happen. It came on again a week or 2 later...then went away on its own in about 2 days!

I miss my 400hp STi

Do yourself a favor. There seems to be a lot of issues lately with Dinan from what I’ve seen. For how much they cost, you would be better off getting a refund and shooting a pm over to Mariokart to talk about a real ECU tune. Just get a remap done. It’s worth it. And cost-wise, not much difference, but better power and performance.
