Need real nice front discs and pads on a 09 FJCW

Need real nice front brake discs and pads on a 09 FJCW, don't care about dust, don't care about cost, I want the best and I would like to find something in a disc that looks great too. I will keep the pretty red JCW calipers. I would like something to really work great on the street. I have drilled and slotted ones now , but they are almost to the minimum thickness. Opinions?

funny the slotted discs are more than the slotted and drilled ones

You might not want to hold your breath for the GEOMET rotors. I ordered a set last November, but I finally canceled the order after waiting almost four months. They would give me a ship date, then a day or two before the date they would push it off and give me a new date. The new date would roll around and they would push it off again with another new date. I finally called and they said they were having major problems with their supplier, so they pulled back and made a deal with a new supplier. They PROMISED the rotors would ship on the date they gave me, which was the fourth new date. Well, that one got changed too, so I finally said screw it and bailed. Funnily enough, now I see the current ship date on the web site is six weeks past the last one they gave me in March...

YMMV, but I'm not convinced those GEOMETs will ever materialize.

Way carries the EBC rotors as well, so they must be okay.

I've used the red stuff pads on the street and liked them....not much dust and good all-round pads - I do mostly highway driving.

I love EBC. The rotors you have up here are great when paired with the EBC red stuff pads.

Just be aware, the slotted rotors will have great bite to them but will eat through pads much more quickly.

If cost really is no issue, you may want to check out the DBA T3 4000 Series Rotors. Tough to find a better looking or performing rotor http://m.autoanything.com/brakes/61A6514A0A0.aspx. I think they fit your stock caliper. Double check to be sure. Paired with EBC Redstuff or Hawk HPS pads if you really want a lot of initial bite, and you'll really have a top notch system.

The EBCs are really nice, and pretty good value for what you get. We install them in the shop all the time

Thanks for the info.
I will order a set with pads as soon as the credit card cools down a little
As the car doesn't get driven too much I can get by for a while.

Seem to be working very well, might have went with yellow pads , to get more bite as the dust thing is secondary , but the set is working good
