Mini JCW mpg

My JCW is putting out over 40mpg, I reset the mpg reader over a week ago and checked it today and it reads 41.2 mpg? This cannot be correct surely?

usually the obd reader is off by 2 mpgs or so and I based it from my own calculation from the pump versus the obd. how i calculate it, i fill up the car and drive it until it requires another fill up.. at the pump, i record the number of miles driven from the last fill up, e.g. 500 miles and the total gallons pumped, e.g. 14.235 gallons. so the equation should read 500/14.235 = XX.XX mpgs. just a quick...

Same here in town with AC. Just about 1-2 MPG less than my 2007 MCS so far.
