Trading/Selling my 09 JCW for a GPII
I'm on the brink of trading in my JCW for a GP. The trade offer is 13.5. Car is in pretty good shape and has 76K on it. If someone may be interested in beating the trade offer and can move very quickly on it, I would gladly sell pretty cheap. Car is posted in the for sale section. Sorry no pics right now, I'll get some up this evening.
I guess those bilsteins will roll back the hands of time and remove 80 thousands miles... how many miles are o. your mini?... don't be an a-hole...
All this assumes your car has never been in an accident or anything like that btw.
Sorry, should have said Bilstiens, sticky tires, remove the rear seat and new bushings/wearable suspension components.
Rubber parts do deteriorate with time and use, the metal that forms the structural components of the car does not deform in any appreciable way. I doubt even the best F1 drivers would be able to tell the difference between your car with the GP2 parts mentioned above and a real GP2. On paper the would be nearly identical.

It's one thing to want one for it's uniqueness, but wanting a GP for it's perceived power/ability bump over a JCW is silly.
Stickers and some red painted mirrors and it would be just like the real thing!

I just traded my 09 JCW Clubman with 52,000 miles for a new GP
. Loved all of my previous MINIs, but WOW the new car feels mucho different than any other (non-GP1) MINI....it's a serious animal!

The only way I see getting a GP 2 is if I was already on my way to the dealer to buy a JCW. However since we know a 2 liter will be available in the f56 do I want a to buy a car that will immediately be slower than the next model and has an engine that lets be honest has a less than stellar reliability record.
