My "new" 2011 Black + CR JCW
My "new" 2011 Black + CR JCW
After a lot of searching and years of deliberating I finally pulled the trigger. I got a great deal I couldn't pass up. Many thanks to the forum for all the advice on plasti-dip. Worked like a charm.

Very sexy car. Joey mod the lights when you get the courage. Blackout the beltline from Outmotoring, check the red one out, a buddy has that on his JCW Clubman and it adds a different pop compared to my blacked out beltline on my R56.

I hear ya on the warranty. I'm doing a bunch of mods (when I get my car) on handling. Wheels, tires, rear swaybar, coilovers, and strut brace pretty much as soon as I get her. As far as performance, I will probably do a CAI, downpipes, and then exhaust. Doing those performance items shouldn't create a problem with warranty. Anything beyond those performance mods I will wait a good 5-8k miles before breaking into the engine/ECU. It's just usually the way I approach my mods. Since it already has great brakes, I probably will just put some SS lines, and upgrade rotors and pads for some track days.
In my approach, I know the JCW will not compete with some of the "sport" cars in 0-100, but it will beat most in handling, braking and fun factor.
I have a busy 1st week planned for MAKO
