Okay I just finished installing many more items on "Twilight" .... see signature for details....

Lots of new power and torque.

My only complaint is the noise coming from the Forge BOV.

From doing research; and listening to YouTube.... it definitely sounds like the noise is common. Winning sound. Although mine almost sounds like metal grinding on metal....

What is weird is that my JCW does NOT make any noise while she is sitting still.... and if you rev her up... still no noise. All good - Great!

As soon as you throw her in gear and take off accelerate moderately to hard .... hear comes the noise. It does come on acceleration but is worst as soon as you let off the gas.... as others are claiming. Again sounds like winning but more like shearing metal?

One BIG question is .... I installed the YELLOW spring. Would the noise be more with the Yellow Spring vs the Green Spring or the same?

I know some were saying that the noise was not that big of an issue for them.... wish I could say the same. It is loud. Only was to get rid of it.. TURN the radio up

Really contemplating ... going back to stock... even after all that work.

Any remedies? Does this scenario sound right. I went over my install ... and looks like my install is good.

Does the WMW BOV have the same sound result? Is the WMW BOV any better than stock?

I really find it hard to believe everyone recommends the Forge BOV.... with the noise it is generating for me. Could it be also attributed or louder because of any of the other mods I installed? Thinking AccessPort Stage 1 or something?

Listened to more youtube.... current R56 .... Forge BOV.... and mine does sound like thiers....

EXCEPT I do NOT have the "Sound" when the MINI is parked. (which is good I guess) Unlike the videos.... where they have the sound while parked. H'm Weird?

Anyway.... still wondering how WMW's BOV sounds... and what the difference between WMW and Forge or Helix is?

After researching more & more.... looks like there might be a difference in sound from the Yellow Spring to Green.

Guess I will have to try it out eventually.

Anyone try switching these out? What was your experience?

I went with Yellow because Way @ WMW said that probably would be best for my JCW. Should I have stayed with Green. Can Yellow have bad long term effects?
