Got some updated photos today of my baby when back from IU. I haven't had that much time to play around with her as I should, but oh well. There are some changes from day 1

With the joey-mod on the halogens, does it affect the light any? I know you leave the rear reflective surface unpainted. I am just curious. Might be a mod to put on mine. Also, how exactly did you do it/what did you use?
And, on the egg yolk removal, you just left off the lenses in general? I am definitely looking into that. I might even try and find a set of the clear lenses online....

Good luck trying to find a set of clear lenses...i think many have tried to no avail.
No, they don't affect light much at all, as long as you leave the reflective in tact. I think otherwise it'd look weird if the 'cylinder' of the turn signal wasn't painted.
I just taped it off and painted with high temp engine paint in flat black.
And yes, just left the lenses off, works fine. Might eventually get steallth amber bulbs.
And for anyone else, I installed the Riss racing catless downpipe that mates up the fJCW exhaust. It pops and burbles 24/7 and is aggressive as you could want.
