I traded in my 2010 Justa (after driving the 6speed, I loved my old DSM cooper but needed more power) and I picked up a very lightly used '09 PW/BLK JCW.

I could make this a build thread if you would all like to see the progress, but for now it's just a new welcoming thread.

Mods are as follows:
-JCW Aero kit
-JCW CF rear spoiler
-Vmaxxx Street Coilovers
-17x7 Team Dynamic v1.2's
-m7 front strut brace
-black/PW viper stripes

Later this week I'll be getting some more toys in the mail, and then saving up the rest of the summer for some performance stuff.

I'm getting those wheels soon, and those stripes. Aside from a few minor details/options, we pretty much have the same car. :thumbsup:

How's the ride on the vmaxxx's?

ya' know, it's not too bad. It's a tad rougher, but nothing unbearable nor is it the stiffest out there. the best part about it is the fact it elimates that horrendous wheel gap :thumbsup:

I supposed I'm the only person in the whole world who isn't a fan of the JCW spoiler. It looks way too rice to me, and the performance advantages aren't enough to really justify the look of it to me.

Besides that, that's a ****ing NICE JCW. I love the stance. How wide are the tires on the wheels? I'm going to take a wager and say they're 215's? If they are 225's, could you take a picture of the car from the back so that I could see how wide the tires look?

it's funny you say that, i have a bid for the OEM black S style spoiler on ebay right now and waiting to throw that on. I think it's funny proportions and takes away from the look.

So they are 215's? Definitely wish I could throw 235's on this car and get away with it. With the new springs I'm getting, it's going to look stanced as all hell.

I'm running 235s no problem. There are some others on here that have done it as well.

Where did you get the smoked rear taillights? Online or local?
