And how long did the front amber lens removal take?

 

front ambers literally took 2 minutes to get off the car, 5 to remove the lense, and 3 to get it back on. maybe 20 minute mod. and the smoked tails are online from outmotoring.

Did you buy replacement smoked tails, or smoked tint for your existing tails? Can you provide a link? I can't seem to locate smoked tails on Outmotoring. Thanks! Great looking car!

Nice one! I love the stripes down the middle.. I'm thinking of doing something similar.. not the same though.. I also like the JCW Aero kit, although I'm not sure I would pay for it after the fact..

 

ha well the stripes actually came off. I forgot to post my update on here because I'm have a busy schedule this semester. AP en route via UPS, have enough to but an FMIC and CAI.

thos aren't actually clear lenses, just lack of amber lenses. I'll take better pics when i do the retrofit.

 

I did not know JCWs came with a non-HID option. Weird.

I prefer no stripes has a much cleaner and uncluttered look.

 

Ya on all mini's hid is an option no matter the trim, an I wasn't going to pass on a deal like this.

The stripe removal looks super clean in person especially with my body matched rings around the headlights.

The AP just came in the mail and my retrofit parts are in the mail!!!

 

You should joey mod those headlights, it would go well with the rest of the black

I've been trying to find someone around here that has one that would let me borrow it for a day just to see if it's worth the price. I'm convinced that nobody in WNY mod's their MINIs

 

No, no, nothing happened to her. she's just garaged while i'm at school since parking here is a ****-ton. I just don't want someone to punch of a sideview mirror like my friends car since i live by the bars in Bloomington!

 

Yeah, I feel ya. I used to work in downtown Albany NY and I had to park in the ghetto (when I had my Cooper). My car had scratches, dents and trim pieces broken once every few weeks!
