Just ordered loaded 2011 JCW!!
Just placed my order for a JCW which should be here the end of December.
Midnight black w/black rims. Red roof/mirrors. JCW black/red stripes.
Full black interior with full leather.
Navigation with connected.
Every single possible option other than dimming side mirrors.
I was told to order the JCW things when the car comes in. My plan is....
aero kit
alcantara steering wheel
jcw shifter
jcw suspension
Anyone know if a dealership can install braided ss brake lines? Wish that was an option on the JCW.
I honestly was trying to purchase a GP but couldn't get funding. No bank would buy the idea of a 5 year old Mini worth $23k. Yet no problem buying a new one for $40k. Oh well. I'm quite certain I wont be disappointed.

Nice, take a look at my sig. Almost the same order and I too expect to have mine end of December. I had the Nav and lounge leather on my last JCW but needed to keep the costs down as it will be my commuter car for several years to come and with our first baby on the way. Has anybody gotten a quote on a painted and installed 2011 JCW aero kit? My dealer is saying $3500 and that is with paint at their cost and $85 an hour labor rate. I ust cannot justify spending that much. Anybody gotten a better quote?

If you have good inside contacts with your local dealer, the crew should be able to put on your SS lines.
It will cost you a brake bleed and flush plus the labor to R&R.
I know both my dealers would do it, if I am not in a rush.

Apparently it has something to do with the adaptive headlights not working with them. Why you can't order them if you don't have the adaptives, I don't know.

BigMiniAL- When is your production scheduled? I just orderd a Black/Black JCW and I am hoping since my car is sold they bump it up to build it with your car. I know there is another Black/Red for the first week of Dec build too.
Mine will be Jan. as it is 3 weeks to the west coast for shipping.
I tried to get the black head lights too. No deal. I have adaptive Xenons on order. I was told it is part of the White/Silver Package which I have never heard of.

Thats what I thought Phinz. They seem to know less about ordering the car than I do. They were hung up ordering the connect too.it kept wanting to add $750 tot he cost for the control box. I said for the extra $750 I can have full Nav. I think they got it figured out. It is listed correct in the owners lounge but I did not get a new print out from the dealer yet showing the finished price which should be 35k.

Thats pretty sick! I just order mine as well a couple of days ago. I opted to stick with the leatherette. I loved it on my 02 - held up very well. Here's my final spec.
