2011 Brake Duct Cooling Grill

I ordered the 2011 brake duct cooling for my JCW. I was at the dealer
getting an annual service and noticed that all the S's had this standard
on non-aero cars.

Dealer told me it will bolt up! Hope they are right.

Cool, I thought it would be nice if it can be retrofitted to the older standard MCS/JCW bumper, please keep us posted!!

The exit hole is about 2 1/2" high and 1 3/4" wide. So air going through it I imagine is being compressed and speeded up to some degree. The hole is well inside the the wheel and is blowing into the wheel well more than onto the brake rotor.

That would be MUCH better than the "brake duct" on the JCW aero kit from last year.

I thought the 2011 bumpers (for both MCS and JCW) were completely different. In that case, I doubt seriously that the new brake ducts will just fit into an old grill without some creative carving.

The front of my MINI is just like the one in the original post above. That is standard, I didn't get the aero kit. It looks lots better in person than in pictures. It seems to suck up a lot of bugs, and I like dead wasps.
