In my mind, a proper car should have a Temperature gauge -- look into the dual JCW gauge pod.

But it is otherwise the car that I wish I could build. Drive in well.

Bruno: Very nicely done. Where did you get the cf door handles? I got a set off ebay that are just beautiful, but think that I won't be able to use them now as my 2011 will have the Convenience Package which includes the Mini Comfort system. Might have to sell them and get the other style for the Comfort.
You ordered, got your JCW just like I would have ordered if I'd have gone with the 2010. Mine's going to be the reverse of yours, Midnight black body and Chili Red top. Anyway, great build.

Very nice build. If you are going C/F. Get the C/F Dash Kit and Rear Diffuser.

C/F Handles are inside the car. Not outside. Does not matter if you have comfort or not.

The handles that I have are from ku_engineering in Japan, I believe. Nice stuff, believe me, but if I remember correctly my door handles were for a non comfort system.

How about a solid, stable arm rest like this one from MiniFini? I had one in my 06R53 (Maggie) and loved it, until she was stolen. Got another one for Maggie, Too and could NOT do without. Best part was installing this myself. Beautiful job with your car which I might have to steal some ideas from.

Cheers!!

What a beauty!
cf shift **** is what jumps out at me! What if mini offered CF trim for the gauges a/c vents, shifter etc. Does anyone offer something like that? hmmm

thanks for all the compliments!

im eyeing the carbon rear diffuser....next!

@hemisedan, i have "cf interior door handles", im keeping the chrome exterior handles for some contrast. ku engineering does make some cf grille surrounds wc i might give a try. get some cf interior door handles, it does make a big difference vs the stock plastic ones. btw black with red roof is very nice and would be my option if i waited for 2011s.

@smoke05S.....i love the stock giant chrome **** with red letters, i deliberately left it stock.

The problem with using some carbon fibre products is to know when to stop. I have the hatch handle and the said door handles, and my intentions are to stop with the gas filler cap. Doing the interior door handles might be good too, and maybe the emergency brake handle, but that's it. When you start, like I said, it's tough to know when to stop. Oh yes, the grille surrounds are interesting, too. See what I mean?

OP your Chili Red JCW inside and out looks sweet!!

I finally have all of the JCW CF bits on my car too. The last thing added was the CF mirror caps. Which do not fit well at all. And that is a shame as all the other parts do fit well and are very nice. Pictures do not do the CF parts justice. You have to see it in person to appreciate it. This especially true for the CF dash and the mirror caps.

Here are a few pics:

CF door pulls

CF tailgate handle or boot pull and CF rear diffuser

M7 Vortex II hood scoop in CF

CF gear shifter and e-brake handle

I do not have pics of the dash or mirror caps yet but there are plenty of pics on line already.

@onefish...hmmm my jcw cf mirrors fit very well, you might have missed out on one of the six clips of the mirror covers.

@hemi...yeah the dilemma is when is enough CF??? this is the first time i modded the hell out of a car, bodykit and all..... Maybe a CF diffuser and grille, and thats it for me. but oh...the jcw wheel and chromeline interior looks nice too....and i want black challenge rims. when will this ever end????

Bruno, I'm having the black Challenge wheels option done. As I noted on another forum, I'm still up in the air about the three $250. options: garage door opener, auto dimming rear view mirror and the rain sensitive wipers. In many ways, some of this stuff is just more possibilites for something going wrong. I thought that maybe it would be just better to go the JCW suspension, rather than the other niceties. The car will never be on a track, as the closest one is 500 miles from here, so maybe just the Sport Suspension and add lowering springs.

@hemi......at least go with bixenons. auto dimming mirrors are nice but not really needed as do auto wipers...but if theyre there, y not? my mini doesnt have any auto anything as specified by the local importer. if i wanted auto wipers, lamps etc...it would be a 3 month wait.

the black challenge rims are very nice...very glossy. i was too excited about my car that i forgot to include the black rims on my dealer installed accessories.

I've pretty much made up my mind on this now, kicking the universal garage door opener. My project 38 Ford is going to be finished either, this winter or in the spring and I know that it will never see a night out of a garage. So, that means that Olga's Jeep will sit inside and the 38, and the Lil Guy will be outside in his own car cover.

I'm going with the HID's and the adaptors, beings as the dealer is so generouse, and keeping the rain sensitive rain wipers, they sound kind of neat, really and the auto dimming inside mirror. That goes with the H&K sound, Cold package and rear fog lights. Don't need anything else, really so that's it. Oh yes, the Chili Red roof and mirrors, Chili Red color line interior and black wheels as noted before. That's pretty much it, and the the light mods next Spring, when I get all this high finance stuff done. Picking leather out now for the 38, and the painter is applying color to the firewall today. Car time, ain't it fun to act like a 20 year old again?

Bruno, that is one of the best looking cars (much less MINIs) that I've ever seen. I don't have any mod ideas seeing how I don't even own one yet (hopefully 2011 MCS soon). But beautiful car, man!

OK Folks, how do you do this? I can't find where you add things like those that have what Mini they have, when ordered, or born and what it is. That sort of thing. Is that your signature? How does one do it?

Mirror caps installed by the MINI dealer. All clips are in. They even showed me another car that had the CF caps on, same fitment issue. The caps are on but you can easily take them off by squeezing the cap. The original ones never did this.

Hello guys, i would like to ask you a question about the CF door pulls.
I am thinking of ordering them but I was wondering if they rattle as the plastics seem to rattle a lot
Thank you for your help
