2011 JCW pictures
Anytime
One little suggestion, ditch the runflats and get a set of Michelin ICE's, they are great on snow and ice, like we have had here in Iowa, too. Nice car. What did you do on the interior?
I had one heck of a time getting that picture on the signature. Anyway, I like it a bunch. Kind of looks like yours, well almost. Unfortunately, it's dirty as sin right now. In Iowa, it got up to 62 degrees yesterday. No day to wash a car. I think that Sunday will work. And, it is very dirty, but hey, that's why we have them, to drive.

She's beautiful! I thought that they offered a joey mod in the JCW options--am I wrong on that? I really like the bonnet stripes. Well....I can't wait to see photos of your planned mods, and enjoy that bad girl!
Thanks, she is a bad girl isn't she? Don't even get me started on that. I posted a thread a few months ago on the mistake they made on the configurator. When they originally put the 2011's up on the configurator they allowed you to configure a JCW with the black headlamp housings but in exchange you could not have the adaptive headlights. No brainer for me and was really excited about the fact that I would not need to do a true joey-mod and open up the headlights. Turns out, Mini made a mistake and for whatever retarded reason, they will not build a JCW with the black headlamp housings. Really sucks because it would have really completed the look I was going for, especially after I complete the blackout. I am not really comfortable doing the joey-mod but we will see.

When I ordered Lil Guy, the blackened headlights were suppose to be an option, but without the Adaptive headlights. I did want the adaptives, so I renigged on the blackened headlights. It can't be that difficult to do that, but I have been told by the local Mini dealer that they have to open up the unit, and that's not all that good of thing to do. My question is then, what about when you have to change a xenon headlight bulb? I like the black tool.

Carter sure looks familiar. Except that your Carter is a bunch cleaner than Lil Guy is. I see, or it looks like, you forgoed on the sunroof, me too.

I got the JCW cloth seats with red stitching & MINI Connected with NAV. I think those are the only differences between Lil Guy and Carter. I got Blizzaks on now for the winter time

I'll post a pic tomorrow or Thursday of the interior!
nxt MINI: What was ordered on Lil Guy was: Midnight Black body with Chili Red Roof, Xenon's with the Adaptives (dealer paid for) Red leather with Black cloth seats, H&K sound system, garage door opener, auto inside mirror, rain sensitive wipers (which I still haven't figured out yet) rear fog lights, Black Challenge Wheels, and the Cold Package. No sunroof. I think that's about it, The dealer thru in the JCW scuttles and rubber front, rear and boot covers, along with the Xenon's and Adaptives. The headlights are nice, but I wouldn't have ordered them. My Lil Guy started out being a $31K guy and ended up being a $34K one. But, with the deal that Patraicks thru at me, well it got back down to $31,500. So, not a bad deal, and I really like the Lil Guy. With the Michelins, it gets around in the snow very well, too.
My neighbor mentioned yesterday, that he was shocked at how easy Lil Guy got around in the snow. As he said, it just walks right thru it with very little wheel spin. Have fun.....

.. i really liked the midnight black with chilli red combination but my only prob with this color is taking care of it .. congrats man
What's up with Lil Guy?
[QUOTE=jcw666;3213698]Yooo bill, whats up man? how is lil guy doing? what u been up to?
JCW666: Things are going great. Haven't done, really anything to it, just using it for what it was bought for: to drive.
One thing that I did that was very good was the Michelin ICE tires, they really get the Lil Guy around nicely. As for the color combination, hey it gets dirty in the winter, all cars get dirty during the winter. Everytime that I wash it, and really clean it up, the weather warms up and the roads get wet and slushy. So, Lil Guy is dirty again. But, it really doesn't make any difference what color it is, dirty it dirty.
And is there anything that I'd do differently with Lil Guy? None, none whatsoever. Just love drivig him.

thats gr8 .. no, i was asking how is he doing with u
.. n mainly was asking about u, long time we didnt catch up
, actually the only thing i did is got the windows tinted .. regarding the color, with us every day is dusty, u just finish cleaning ur car n baaaam dust is all over the car .. i have experienced this with my friends cars who has black n dark colors .. my car color is working very well with me i can easily keep it unwashed for more than 4 to 5 days but the dust is there un noticable .. our weather is unlike ur weather specially summer humidity and hot, dusty big time .. at least in winter it reduces little when it rains, the dust goes down just for a few days
thats the prob .. i was almost to go ahead with the midnight black and chilli red but last mint. i changed my mind i really really really loved the combination .. i thought of the eclips grey but its almost there so if im going for eclips grey why not midnight black so i changed my mind.
ya man its really great .. tell me about it, i cant sit at home

Was the proud owner of an 09 JCW until I turned it into an accordion. After it was totaled my insurance gave me a check and fate brought me this beautiful girl. I did some cosmietic changes most recently the wheels. But here's my baby.
