TapestryJCW: Very nice, kind of looks familiar, like my Lil Guy, except for the stripes.

I do have a question for you, beings that you are now on your second JCW: You probably haven't enough miles to get into her yet, but what's your opinion of the power difference between the 09 and the 11? I drove a 10 last year, and my 11 feels stronger. Yes, I know that Mini/BMW claims not to have done anything to the engene, but mine just feels stronger and I wanted to ask someone that has had more experience than I, their opinion. Thanks, nice car, and they are so damn fun.

 

JCW666: Hey, cleaned up Lil Guy Sunday and it was so nice outside, had to give him a thorough clean up. Can you believe it, April 3rd and it was 86 degrees? Didn't last long though, by 5:00 it was down to 48 degrees. Anyway, cleaned him up, put some polish on him, really looking nice. Went to work at 11:00 pm and it was raining. Right, just my luck.

 

It's hard for me to say. When I originally started driving my 11, it felt pretty darn different. I realized soon after that it was the suspension as my first, I ordered it with the sport while this girl came with the standard. I have to say that the ride on the standard suspension is beautiful. She has so much more glide to her. (this has since changed as I put 18s on her and the larger tire size really roughens up the ride.

As far as power, the only difference I feel is when the sport button is off. I think the 11 shows more juevos in off mod than the 09. Bt the on mode feels about the same.

 

How about the torque? I have heard the torque controll on the 11 is much better than the 09. I know there is a software upgrade test that is being done in some MINI shops, but not available in the Denver area that I am aware of.

No, but a pretty sweet looking ride all the same. Always been a big fan of those wheels. They look pretty sharp. You've got some pretty serious looking cans out back, is that a Remus system?
