Can I swap the grill out?

I have a CR/W 10R56 factory JCW and would like to swap out the stock grill for this grill with the brake ducts. I realize that it says that these ducts are for vehicles with the aero kit but I don't want/need the aero kit, just the grill with ducts. Do ya'll think I can just swap in the new grill or will I have to get the front aero bits, too?

Cheers!!

OK, any suggestions from the group on how to make this work? What is the limiting factor? Is the aero grill a lot smaller than the stock or what? Or would it be easier to get this kit instead?

Cheers!!

I'm not even close to that!! Primarily because there's no Reset button and I'd have to pay for the damages. But I know I was under 13 minutes in my 06 R53. The weather has been too craptastic to run Maggie, Too over the 'Ring since December but I'll be sure to put more than a couple of laps before 13 July, when I move back to the States. Gotta see how something called The Tail of The Dragon compares to the Italian Alps!

I'll look into getting that kit and thanks for the advise.

Cheers!!

JCW Brake Duct Kit

I just installed the brake duct kit. It only fits the JCW aero kit. We also installed the JCW splitter at the same time. It took us right at five hours...first time doing it...and being very careful. I really like the results.

Poppa Bear mentioned this thread to me. I've just installed the brake duct kit on a stock R56 bumper. It also took about 5 hours. Body kit was too expensive for me.
