Forza 3
I've been looking forward to this for SO long - I was obsessed with Forza 1 and 2, and once I heard that the '09 JCW (which is my daily driver) was going to be in 3 I nearly creamed myself.
Picking it up on the way home from work: this has been the longest day ever!

Yeh I'm definitely picking this up after work. I played the demo and it was cool to see our car featured in the game.
My JCW order arrives this weekend so for me, this is the longest week ever!
hopefully this game will keep me from going insane until my car arrives.

Stig,
Does it do TBO as well.
Got to get one myself. What do you guys use for the steering wheel and shifter? How is the G25 or G27?

I spent HOURS last night playing around with the JCW on Forza. The game is sweet!
I agree w/ everyone here that they did a great job on the driving dynamics of the car in the game. I know the PI #'s don't really mean jack, but did anyone else notice some stuff that just seems plain wrong?
For example:
Handling: the Volvo C30R gets a 4.7 and the JCW a 4.6 - I test drove the C30R before deciding on the JCW and one of the deciding factors was the JCW's superior handling...
Braking: the JCW gets a 4.6 and the Cooper S a 4.7 - I'm not all that familiar with the R53 Cooper S but I gotta believe that the massive brakes on the JCW = better braking, even if it is heavier
Launch: the JCW is rated at 5.3 and the Mazdaspeed 3 at 5.1 - Again, test drove the Mazdaspeed 3 and there is NO WAY the Mazdaspeed has a slower launch from a stop (doesn't make it more fun than the JCW though
).
Not that I really care but this might be one time where physics engines don't necessarily translate into real world performance...Anyone else have any thoughts?

I finally got to drive my jcw on the nurburgring, and oh was it sweet, 10 minutes = 1 lap
.
Yea I was wondering why the 2003 s had some better numbers than the JCW in handling & braking but I haven't driven an r53 s so I don't know.
I have the xbox wheel, but I have always been dissapointed with the quality, the wheel has too much play in it, and it just feels kinda cheap. I really wish Microsoft would license the Logitech G27 for 360, looks like a much better product.

Am I the only person who is highly disappointed that they have the power way down for the JCW. The car puts down 215 to the wheels in real life, and the game sets the car at 208 to the crank.
I understand that they (BMW) under-estimate the power for legal reasons, but it seriously sucks when video game companies then just use those advertised numbers.

Holy sh*t - do you sleep?
