If I had the budget the Rennsport Cockpit would be awesome.
Does it feel like you're driving a real car? I mean, do you feel steering tug when going in hot into a corner and stuff like that? Is the steering accurate or is it sloppy? Last time I used a wheel was for PS1 and it was not good so I'm wondering how far they've come.

On another Forza 3 point... I redownloaded the demo (haven't played it since I got my MINI :-) ) all set to drive the MINI...

and for some reason I get that same feeling everytime I try forza:

cars feel floaty. Like not on the road.

Compared to NFS: Shift that I played for quite a while... NFS gives such a better adrenaline rush, sense of speed... and I feel like I am on the road!

What's up with that?

The Xbox wheel has force feedback. It has 2 types, if you don't plug in the wheel to 110v (has a transformer like a laptop), it merely vibrates as you hit bumps, clip curbs at the apexes/exits, etc. If you plug it in, I will literally rip the wheel out of your hands. Serious amount of feedback. I've never used any of the more expensive wheels so this may be typical for any with force feedback.

It works great on Dirt 2 also. You feel the road through the wheel. It doesn't feel like a real car but the stand gives stable support. Actually no wheel is any good without it properly mounted.

Wow thats crazy! I'm going to get this Microsoft wheel next month. I don't have the room for the furnature set that people tend to get for it so I'll just rest it on my lap. From what Minidrivr says I won't be able to enjoy the force feedback but at least that option exists. I've never heard of a home racing wheel that had real force feedback before so 100.00USD for this is a bargin.

BTW who is xbox name: "john898989" on here? I've raced with him on Xbox, hes on here somewhere but I don't know his NAM name.

John898989 is not on here as he is not a MINI owner but his brother is and that would be me. John and I will be teaming up when we get the JCW Challenge races set up on the forza mini forums. We have our livery set up already here is mine

John is exactly the same only blue.
My internet has been working rather poorly so I have not been online for sometime. That will be getting fixed shortly. Until then see you on the forums www.forzaminiclub.webs.com/

anyone else find the fact that Forza3 has the R53 MCS, the JCW R56, but it doesn't have Clubman, GP, or for that matter the option of black mirrors/roof? now if only you can actually get a JCW with NAV equipped interior that's my only gripe...

but fun stuff is trying out different suspension setups... i've been doing all coilovers and have tuning setups for JCW suspension, NM springs, TSW springs, Eibach Pro II springs, KW, and my challenge setup. found that -1.2 camber front and rear in the game will give you even tire wear and heat... throw caster up all the way to 7, throwing stage 1 turbo upgrade with all the basic bolt ons (as in realistic stuff... first stage weight reduction, non race exhaust, race clutch and race transmission put to JCW gearing to match how fast we shift in real life... way too slow for my taste otherwise...) but anyway, doing so put my car at a B class 472 and run an 8:40.390 with the car set to the exact same stuff that i have on my car, i'll give specs for anyone who wants :P

OH and everyone who plays, friend me: jaypsamurai3

It would be neat if they had the MINI GP. However, my friend made one! I'll post pics when I can.

Also, really really wish they had justa-coopers! What a slap in the face to us R50 owners Would like some N/A power. Even further still, they should have included atleast 1 classic Mini. That would have been too cool!

Let me know when you get that set up. I'd love to have some Sunday afternoon JCW Challenge races. That would be awesome

Thought I would post a pic of my JCW Racer.

I don't know how to make it bigger. How do you upload a picture like you did?

You will need to host the picture on your gallery here on NAM or you could use www.flickr.com
Then when you want to put the picture in your post use the icon at the top of the posting box that looks like a mountain with a sun over it. When you click on that it will ask you for the link to the picture you want to post. To get this right click on the picture you want and go to properties. The link you want to use will be on that window. Hope that helps.
Here is a large image of your racer just in case.

You can change the colors of the roof just by doing square vinyl, and stretching it across. No biggie. Just can't change the mirrors without changing the color of the car. Then I guess you could vinyl the rest of the car to make the color change on the car.

Several things you can do as you can see.

LOL, that's awesome! And I thought my side by side XBOX 360 TV/Cable TV setup was a little over the top... You've just made me guilt free!

I think I'll pick up the wheel stand though, since that frees me up to get a wheel instead of slumming it with a controller like I've been doing.

Nice looking ride, Zyamfier! I guess I'll have to pick up Forza 3 if you're setting up a MINI forum for it. I was holding off since some friends and I just bought Forza 2 for the first time when it went to the $20 classic version with all the extra maps and cars included. It's nice if you can force yourself to ride a year behind and get the games on the cheap. I can't do that on Call of Duty or Halo, but others I do what I can.

Had an awesome time last night. At one point, was up to 4 people runnin' at once, almost neck and neck.

Anyone around tonight? I'll be on! Look for "TheVeedo". Not my tag, just my game, lol. My buddy let me borrow his Xbox till I beat that game, and he may not get it back.

I play MW2 on PS3. Kinda played it out. Always room for more Forza though.

MW2 is a great game. Infinity Ward really knows how to put a game together. I imagine new maps are coming soon.

Some of the guys I play Forza 2 with have really gotten into painting and selling cars in the auctions. Has Forza 3 upgraded what you can do when you are customizing your cars?

Never played Forza 2 but from the people that have that I've talked to, it has gotten much better.

MW2 is addicting. I zone in and feel like I'm really at war
