You have to get the scuttle carriers to use any of the optional scuttles, including the JCW ones. I have them, so I know from actual use.

I tried to remove the scuttle carriers out with success, but taking out the bulb and the cover seems hard. I don't want to break my white light cap

Unscrew the bulb first. There is a clip you bend to angle the bulb cover out. It's easy to do.
