There is a third party sunshade. I haven't needed it yet but I also just got the car in late August. We'll see what happens next summer.

I plan on keeping the double spokes on my MC since I have a JCW aero kit, cooper D hood,MCS engine and exhaust that will be installed this winter and I think they would look best with that setup. I will be swapping the JCW suspension from my '09 with my H&R Coils from my MC.

Nice... I'm excited to see the transformation. I agree... your car is one of the nicest on the site. I actually just noticed the dark-painted grill a couple days ago, and will probably do the same. I really like the simplicity of the bars, but there's just too much chrome on the front of the stock MC, IMO. It's the perfect compromise.

BTW, what's unique about the Cooper D hood?

My decision on the sunroof or not was easy...I'm 6'3" tall and on my '06, when I put a helmet on either my head rubbed the ceiling or I had to lean the seat back about 2 notches so it didn't, which was not a comfortable position for autocrossing or HPDEs, so no sunroof in the current JCW (not to mention the weight savings and all the complaints I've seen on here about the current gen sunroofs sticking). That being said I'll have to admit it had more headroom then I ever expected (with or without the sunroof).

Thanks for the compliments! The Cooper D hood is the same dimensions as the MCS hood without the scoop which along with the MCS lock bridge is necessary to fit the MCS motor in.

Very interesting... I've always thought the S had a little more height in the front that made it more aggressive looking. So, I guess that may actually be true.
