Driving lights with JCW aero kit

Anyone know where there's a photo of the JCW kit with driving lights?

It's on the colorline part of the dash, just to the left of the steering wheel. There's an interior shot in my gallery where you can see it.

Dan, are those genuine Mini lights or did you get them from a forum vender? I really like the size and the look of those. Some of the lights are way to big and look stupid but your lights really fit the car and look great.

well it's not mine but I'm pretty sure those are the OEM lights. You can get them with the black backing or the chrome.

Anyone have a close up of the switch? Does it look "factory"? Is it backlite?

The photos are of my car - I found this thread after looking at the referrers on my Flickr stream :-)

Yes, they are OEM lights. I specced them when I bought the car new. I had the option of either black or chrome surrounds and went for the black versions to match the aero kit black grille.

I saw someone asking where the switch was - they only operate on main beam so there is no switch as such. If you had them on a switch you'd burn someone's retina out coming the other way! ;-)

ya except there is a toggle switch for them on the dash so they don't always come on with the brights.

But in any case that's your car? I really like the stripes, I want to do the same thing with mine but with chili red and a black roof.

Not on mine there isn't. Maybe the law is different over there - over here spot lamps like that have to linked to main beam on the main headlights.

The car is exactly as I specced it from the dealer as new. So the stripes are official Mini 'viper stripes'. It just takes the edge off the yellow and the black in the aero kit helps as well. Some love it, some hate it :-)

really, I've never seen from the dealer stripes that go down that far, and those seem wider than the usual ones

Here's a pic of mine, factory ordered, installed at port of entry. I will be running white stripes down front bumper soon.

it does look "factory" - much like anything else in the MINI, or a BMW for that matter. i attached a photo of the switch, and i checked, it IS back-lit! We happen to have this one on our lot, not often we have one with driving-lights pre-installed

sorry for the crappy quality, it's from my iPhone so ... nothing professional!
