In a defensive move, I went ahead and put my front plate on the tow-hook receptacle. I'm not lovin' it, but at least it's reversible.

I think it's a good move and it looks good on your car. I did it too and I've not regretted it.

Yes, we put the same tow hook plate on ours and really like it. The only downside, and you don't have to worry about this in your part of the world, is when it gets so cold I can't hand wash the car and have to run it through a car wash, the front plate gets really bent up unless I pull it off

Second JCW

Post pics of your Factory JCW MINI-image.jpg

I just got 2013 JCW on Oct.12.

Back in March my old 1995 Mits. 3000GT was giving me a lot problems. More than I could handle. So finally trade it in for a used 2004 red JCW. Why, you may ask. My wife wanted to get a mini. Plus she was willing to put money down. So ok, I was willing. Anyway I wasn't going to get another sport car. But JCW surprising fun to drive. It put back the fun in driving and it remind me of the old Toyota starlet once had.

Mini dealer was having sale and free food. So I went for the free food of course and test the GP. WOW what a CAR. But too much in price. So test drove the JCW and was a right fit. They gave me a great deal and I drove away with with a new car. My first new car in along time.
This 2013 JCW just as fast as my old 3000GT.

Congrats! The VR4 was my favorite car growing up, but since they went out of production before I started driving I eventually fell in love with MINI.

I had a '93 dodge stealth TT/rt. I loved it but it was a money pit. You made a great choice might I add.

Freida 2013 JCW

Hi All,

Here is my new pride and joy. Her name is Freida. She's 6 weeks old and I just put the winter wheels on her yesterday. Sorry for the crappy pics.

New kid on the block...

The wait has been nearly three and a half months, and here's the final result.

I actually received the car on Oct 31st, but it's been in hiding from the wife for a couple of days to add some of the extras. I'm still not done, I just couldn't work on removing the front bumper in the storage unit, nor dismantle the interior to change out the seatbelts to the red GP ones.
She's had the stripes added (roof graphic took a week+ to arrive as they were on backorder ),Tint, Mirror caps, Scuttles (and a bunch of other Union Jack interior/exterior bits), new shoes (run flats are gone!).
Still have red seat belts, red brake ducts and LED fogs to fit - as well as reverse camera and some other stuff.

Anyway, here's ZMINION in all her glory (and one happy wife too!)

I can honestly say, IT'S BEEN WORTH THE WAIT!!!

Hello guys
Need a small favor from the fJCW guys!
Can anyone with a factory JCW Clubman, either '13 or '14 please post a front/ rear/ and one side pic please?
I would really like one that wasn't ordered WITH the aero kit.
Oh, and one last thing....the exhaust tips....scribed with JCW?

Thanks in advance

I could be wrong, but I all fJCWs across the range (i.e. Hardtop, Clubman, etc.) have been coming standard with the aero kit since 2012.

Well maybe your correct
But I haven't a clue
And the info in several threads are confusing at best
Is it a aero kit
Is it standard
What is included
And if the complete aero kit comes standard
Why can you add it as an option when config ing a fJCW
But I'm not trying to argue
Would like to see what someone else's looks like

Thanks

Why does it look like your MINI has a big wheel gap or is it just the pic?

grmnxtc there is something wrong with your photos, especially the

bottom one with your wife standing next to it. The car is way out of

proportion (as in too big) compared to her size. Anyone else notice

that? By the way she is very attractive!
