You can have any color you want on any JCW as long as you have a good paint shop handy. That's what I intend on doing for my Challenge type stripes next year. I'm just not a big fan of tape for stripes. But here, he probably had the top painted.

Also note, that he doesn't have the race inspired gas filler either, but the flip door. Actually, it looks rather nice and clean this way.

@weston: Only für R55 .... ...but you can use a Vinyl Wrap in silver for roof Design...
@M3This: hot lookin JCW ..but ... i think the Wheels are too big(8,5?), i would drop the Challenge rims on it and paint it Midnightblack looks sharp too and the Performance is the best with a smaller Rim Size.

I cant wait anymore ... i*m waiting for Calender Week 3 in January...then my JCW Clubman in Midnightblack/Midnightblack/black C Pillar finally arrives. And i got many plans with him....

Then i have 2 Clubman... *OMG* hehe
^^

Best wishes for the new Year

I haven't seen one of those before. Any idea as to who sells them? When I first took delivery of our car, I posted a message about finding a filler door that looked like older race car technology: flush but with a flat tab that you pressed inward to release the filler door. No responses so I assumed that such a product didn't exist. In lieu of that, a plain filler door would be cool...

Yep ... keeps the car clean, its funny how few people notice that .

Dont want a colored roof either as the silver is accents and a silver roof would be over the top and a bit much IMO.

I prefer them color matched ... gives it a more race inspired look to match the diffusers, roll bar, Recaro seats, ect.

The CCWs are my street wheels and they make the car feel no less slower then my Volk Racing TE37s that I had for track wheels. The Volks where only 16lbs each and where 7.5" wide (similar to the real Challenge wheels, unlike the 7" wide Challenge looking wheels that come with the JCW). Also to note is the CCWs above weight about 1lb less the the JCW Challenge wheels

This is something like I had hoped to find. It's from an Isuzu VehiCross and modeled after what's used on aircraft...

gettin' funky

A few new pics of recent changes, I added the funky green mirror caps and side scuttles, and a fancy nm Engineering CAI with the carbon fiber inlet tube. I had to order the funky green items from England as I could not get them here in the US...yet. Plus they were cheaper.

Well what do you know, I agree with JamesHunt for once... or twice.

Before:

After:

And an exterior shot of my JCW. Yeah its dirty but what the heck. Added the M7 Vortex 2 scoop in CF a few weeks ago and a grille badge holder with the MINI 50 logo.

Special thanks to Tim (09MellowJCW) for doing the install of the DoS CAI. I am totally loving this this new CAI!!!

I will be posting my NM Engineering intake in the marketplace in the next few days if anyone is interested. Reatails for $429. I would like to get $350 with free shipping. PM me if you are interested.

mtbang: Your JCW looks awesome. Its definitely unique and that is what is so special about these cars. You make them your own. I love the lime green on BRG!!!

As for the intake. I do not think you can find an intake with more bling appeal then the NM with the CF turbo intake pipe. Its HAWT!!!

However, from a sound and useful mod perspective the DoS is THE way to go. Its not very fancy looking but it makes some sweet under the hood music and gives the car some added oomph. Butt dyno says so and a real dyno will let me know if Helix IC and the DoS CAI are the perfect match. I will keep you guys posted.

I originally had the Alta CAI and it was much louder but aesthetically not as pleasing. Not too concerned about making it faster but I want it to look good at car shows and I'll add the NM heat shield for a nice finishing touch. I save all the useful mods for my VW GLI which screams

I got the NM intake, has a real noticeable sound difference...and a little bit different feel driving also...not saying anything againt the other brands...I like them also, I just have noting to complain about with this intake.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oO-E-1o3_4o We made a clip of it but its not really that good...sound quality wise.

Cold Air Intake

Nice shot of the DoS cold air intake. That is a killer intake system. Nothing fancy, just functional. I talked with Clint a couple of weeks ago and he is good on the advice with other vendors. He and his company seem to have their act together. If the DoS intake for the JCW and other R56 Minis is any example, I look forward to other products coming from DoS. The NM system look nice, but seemed too bulky for me. Next Fall, I keep saying that.
