Great pictures, congratulations. Nice combination.

I see the silver top and back doors, are the stripes white or silver? Hard for my old eyes to tell.

All silver. When I first saw it at the dealer's, the colors were very understated. Nice match with the wheels also. That was a lot of the appeal as it didn't shout "BOY RACER ON BOARD". I'm just too old for that (presently 60). I also like how the JCW tags are very unobtrusive. Works for me!

By the way, I am also Don. Nice to meet ya'.

No problem! I received a mini brochure (about 2.5 in square) from the MINI people today and I think I understand why the Pure Silver/Horizon Blue color scheme is fairly rare. Horizon Blue has only been available since March of 2009.

I've got a brand new Challenge splitter taking up space in my garage, and the one installed on my car was brand new as well. I also have factory JCW Recaro seats, although mine are the more expensive alcantara. Ansd I also live in Las Vegas. What are the odds????

Check your PM.

My seats are not the JCW ones .. mine are full bucket Leather Recaro Pole Positions with the optional red stitching as I wanted something that I can run a 6-point harness with for track days.

I took delivery of my 3rd JCW on Saturday - R55 Clubby in Horizon Blue with silver roof/mirror caps and Hot Chocolate cloth/leather interior.

No mods or upgrades yet other than the dealer clear bra package, but I plan to do red mirror caps, silver sport stripes, window tint, JCW side scuttles, JCW shift ****, JCW steering wheel and a few other things .

Pictures toward the bottom of the page here:

I had to laugh because when I bought mine, I drove it to Roebling Road in GA and when I arrived, I had 585 miles on the car.

My breaking in period.... two days at the track...

They said they wanted variable rpms...lol.

Thor

Hello everyone! Meet Thor! He walks quickly but is ready to drop a BIG hammer on your rice tuner... Just picked him up a couple Saturday's ago. Still getting used to the lateral G's he's capable of. Factory aero (not JCW) and sport suspenders. Mmmm can't wait till the motor is fully awake.

Love those wheels. Rather sick of the Challenge wheels.

I really like these stripes. That's what I' like to do on my red on red JCW that I will order next year.

Can anyone tell me if the rear glass looks darkedned or not. I got it as part of the chilli pack and to me, it doesn't look any darker than the front ones.

This white on silver could almost talk me out of the red on red that I have been thinking of. But, my wife will have final say.

Lightening Blue has gone.

Too bad in BMW/Mini's infinite wisdom that the discontinured this color. My favorite, too.

Here's my '09 JCW Clubbie...

I spied it last week when I brought in our "new"/first Cooper!, Nigel, our '08 MCSa in for it's first service (for us), having bought it a few weeks prior.

I crafted a deal with my MA that neither one of us could refuse; an awesome trade-in, $750 off MSRP+choice of mats and 1.9% financing for 60 months. win-Win-WIN!

Couldn't be happier, now it's time to mod!
