I drove one of the intro. JCW cars - It did have a much lower ride height (compared to my 07 S 9000 mi) - It rode much smoother (both have standard suspension) - Not one rattle - Doors closed like a bank vault - Build quality was flawless - I think that these intro. cars are factory ringers

I think what he is saying that Mini has gone beyound just a QA check but has double or triple checked these intro cars so there will be NO problems with them. Possibly

Ride height was 1" lower then mine - Let's compare that to regular production JCW's - Fit and finish were perfect - Made by hand, no - Extra time on the production line, yes - No one has mentioned the ride height - I measured it

I did not - I pulled my car up to it and measured from the top of the tire to the bottom of the wheel well molding - I wonder if Mini is installing the JCW suspensin on the into. cars and failing to mention it on the window sticker - The dealer did not touch it
