Anyway you look at it JCW II is overpriced like all BMW's.

Then don't buy one. Some of us are very excited about getting our cars. Overpriced or not, it is going to be one heck of a ride!

You know that's your opinion and you're totally entitled to it. I'd be willing to bet an awful lot that a JCW car, especially equipped with the JCW suspension, would beat lots of more expensive machinery around a track. I cannot wait to get my car and am totally comfortable with how much I'm paying for it, it's going to surprise a few people wait and see.

I second that. Check out my review of running my JCW-equipped car at Pocono last week:

Needless to say, there were a lot of guys in Bimmers, 'Vettes, and Porsches astounded by their inability to shake the little blue machine in their rear-view mirrors. Plus 128mph in the back straight with more room on the pedal
