Thanks for that info. I'm a little confused. I thought the headlight low beam bulb was an H7 but it doesnt look like it is. It's also hard to get your hand inside the bottom access to grab the bulb. I think it's a straight pull out but not sure. Wish someone had a video. really want to change the bulbs. Halogens suck. If I could remove the headlight it would be easier. Looks like there is a hex bolt inside of the alignment element. I am wondering if these need to be removed also and if touching them will ruin the alignment.

Ok that was it. I just don't know exactly how to get that bulb out. I did remove it and luckily got it back in but I couldn't grab it 100% to find out how it fits in there. I do not believe it turns, it just pushes in but would love to see how.
By the way, I purchased lowering springs from you. Didn't get them yet, lol

On the older design MINI headlight H7 bulbs there was a same metal clip that held it in place. https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/r...dlight/EV6MEaR
https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...t-bulbs-431001
Does it have any of those, something holds it in place?

Might have a pressure clips that hold on the side, you just push it in and pull it out., can you snap a pic with your phone?

How has The Upgrade LED treated you?
I found a place that sells LED's for the '17 Mini Country halogen headlights replacement that are smaller and fit with room !
HeadLight Experts
http://www.headlightexperts.com/carf...halogen-292303
They are having a sale on now and you can also get 10% off if it's our 1st order. I bought the LED's wih the built in canbus and they were here in 2 business days. And lifetime warrantee to boot.
The only way I could get them in with my hands were pulling the headlight housings out and installing them. They are fine and should improve the night time driving. But I did notice that when starting the car, the high beams flickered about 6 times before stopping, then it was fine. They all work properly. But I now have an order in for the Custom Gold Resistors/Decoders they sell to correct this. If I'd have known, I would have them now and paid 10% less with the original order.
So they do have products that will fit and work with the new countryman head lamps limited spaced housings.
And I learned in the future I will have my 12 year old grandson install headlight replacement and not having to remove the headlight housing.
