I have not seen any mention of having to use new sway bar end links when you drop the car. In fact the NM demo car with their lowering springs and sway bar has the stock (plastic) end links on it.

Update 8/05/15

Going with the Jcw coilover kit and Jcw big brake kit.

Tire rack delivers the BBS wheels today and hope to have the rest of the parts
in by 8/21/15

Question about piggyback with Jcw tune, Ryephile which one would you choose tmc, burger, racechip,nm,waymotorworks(looks like tmc)or remus(looks like racechip)?

Will post before and after pics very soon.

I hope the BBS's clear the JCW brakes; the calipers are huge. You might need spacers.

As for the piggyback, they all do the same basic thing. Since I don't have any direct experience with them, it'll likely come down to whichever brand you prefer. It would be nice if a vendor/tuner stepped up to the plate and did a proper dyno and street comparison.

Thanks Rye

Had a TMC on a Abarth and loved the punch but hated the jerky delivery.

Hope the Bbs have more room vs the tentacle wheels.Did have the same wheel 17x7.5 on a abarth with a Wilwood set up front and back with a little room to spare.

Let us know when ready as we sell the JCW tuning kits and the JCW coilovers which are both pretty good. It's nice to see the JCW products bringing a new level.

You should also consider the KW V2s as we've used them and they were great with adjustable valving.

The JCW brakes are huge, but work great. You may need spacers but won't know till you fit the wheels.

We would love to post dyno of our tuning module, but both local cars we have regular access to are automatics and don't dyno well.

-->F55MidnightBlack: That's crazy we're both coming from Abarths! It's a small small-car world.

Automatics are perfect for the 1/4 mile, and the drag strip is the perfect way to prove more area under the curve with a higher trap speed. There's more than one way to demonstrate the effectiveness of the products.

Congrats, when you tint the windows on the F55 it makes the B, C, and D pillar look blended and much better.

Wheels and tires arrived!

observation on wheel width vs tread width, looks like with the contis i will have a very tiny bit of strech ;(

Wish there was room to run a 225/40/18

Will install once other parts arrive, hope i dont need spacers for the jcw brake kit.

Pulled the tigger on a Racechip Ulitimate, wanted to go Burger but for some reason when i tried to place in cart item never showed in cart.Called racechip once more and spoke to someone in germany that knew their stuff, even agreed that a piggyback is still not as good as
a professional remap from a well known and proven source.

Do you think I made a wise choice?

Here is the wheel tire combo. Looks to have more brake clearance vs the tentacles.

More updates

Install on everything except brakes this friday! Brake kit has yet to be released from mini per Sm.There are 17 jcw pro suspension kits available from mini usa.

One change is in piggyback, tried to purchase a Bms beta and could not place in cart multiple times, went to Tmc and found a piggyback for the b48 only. Ended up with a racechip after calling a buddy that has tried all 3 boxes on a gp2 and speaking to tech at Racechip.

Racechip is awesome!!!!!!! Pulls strong and it is very smooth.

Seat of pants tells me it pulls stronger than my old 2009 fjcw when equipped with a rmw high boost 2 tune, akrapovic dp and forge intercooler.

Your F55 is looking great! Thanks for test fitting the wheels on a factory JCW, that's really good info to have.

Project update

Trying to find a F55 Jcw tuning kit, many F56 kits around but no kit for the 4dr.

Good news is the Jcw brake kit is available.

Should I do the brakes then wait for tune or wait until first oil change at 5000 miles and do everything at once?

Ecs Tuning do you have the tuning kit in stock?I would like to buy myself a birthday present today.

Don't the F56 and F55 MCS have the same engine? And does your big brake kit have bigger calipers/rotors than the factory JCW car?
