Can I add a backup camera to my F55? I have entrynav 2 head unit I beleive
Hey all, I just want to add a backup camera to my Mini. The wife prefers to use her phone for navigation so I just need to know if I can add a backup camera to my current head unit. I took the screen off and see the open ports, none of them look like they have the male/female yellow connector that the cameras seem to come with. I will post images of my head unit and the ports on it. What are my options?

I have a 2015 F55 and I would like to add an OEM reverse camera.
I have no backup sensors, but I have the larger screen with navigation and touchpad on the idrive controller. My option list has the "Wired" package.
does this mean my HU supports it and I just need to rear camera with handle and trim, TRVCS module and wiring to plug into the HU and then code VO with 3AG to the car?
Do you have LED headlight? If yes, you have KCAN3 to retrofit 3AG.
But you didn't have PDC, you need to FDL code ICAM to activate it.

I installed an MMI from Bimmer Tech (see link above) not OEM. Very satisfied. Has much better full screen view than stock. Fairly pricy.
Thanks. I do have MMI in my 2009 3-series with an aftermarket camera and it works very well. I just thought that OEM would be easy if I already have supporting HU. The hardware work is the same as MMI and OEM parts should not be much more than MMI. Just need to figure out coding. Granted, I don't gain Carplay/AA, but I'm not looking for that in this car.
I wish my CIC unit from the 3-series would work in the F55 as I want to swap that one to Mr12volt version.
