I can't receive E-mails in my '22 4 door S through my Samsung A53 phone. Texts yes. My last generation MINI was able to receive emails from a Samsung phone. When I upgraded the phone to another Samsung, it stopped.

I was just wondering if it was possible?

Having a way to respond to texts, even if canned, would be nice I guess as well.

I wasn’t aware this was a thing. Do you mean that you could receive and read emails directly in the MINI Connected infotainment? I don’t think that’s possible in either my 2019 F57 or 2023 F60. I do receive text messages in both vehicles, however. We only have iOS devices.

 

Yes, I was able to receive emials on the last generation MINI I had with a certain Samsung phone. As I said, when I got a new phone, I stopped receiving emails.
When I was recoding options via Bimmercode yesterday, I saw a reference to emails in one of the menus.
No choice is on the head unit, so it's probably just an artifact, or something.

 

Doesn't work at all with an iPhone so far as I know, Samsung was working until some particular revision of the OS -- ran across both of those details while researching failure of text messages to associate with contact names in iDrive in the case of the iPhone.

BMW forums are a good place to look for more detail, that's where I found most discussions of this stuff. Not much in MINI forums that is particularly conclusive or detailed.
