Bought $1800 bucks worth of upgrades 2 weeks ago for my new JCW including the Eventuri Intake, It said back ordered till Dec, which was fine. Then several days later it arrives. I open the box and it's used with broken clips and missing hardware. Really!!!. I don't remember ordering from their dent and scrape section.

I’ve had no issue with ECS. Even had good customer service experience. When I ordered rear wipers for my Clubman, was supposed to receive a set of two, but only one in the box. Called them up, explained the situation, and they promptly sent out a new full set without having to return the one already received.

I received a set of Rally lights, I had the car ripped apart, inside glovebox area, underhood cowling area, and front bumper and grill removed.
Lights were installed, wired loom inside. Discovered loom was short by a foot going to lights.
They wanted me to return the WHOLE thing back, rather than grab a loom from another box, and exchange.
Couldn't comprehend that I had 75% of the work done, I would have to remove my work, and put the car back together for 2 weeks round trip.
I was offered to buy a whole new set, allowing a week of my car being down.Returning the original set. Saving a week.
A WEEK WITHOUT A CAR IS STILL A WEEK.
I chose to custom make my own loom with relay, and switch assembly.
Asked to return the module and factory switch, due to no fault of my own, but had to pay $12.50 to return it.
After the thousands of $$ I spent since 2013??
Oh, and NAM discounts?? I was told prices were already low. No discounts.
Case closed.
My next parts order will likely be from Way. I asked both ECS and Way a technical question. ECS: yeah, just buy the parts, we don't actually know what we are talking about, but pretend to if gets us a sale.
Way: Ummm, that part may not work well for you, consider something else.
I didn't buy from either, but I know who is getting my business next time I have some money burning a hole in my pocket.
I rarely ask tech questions, I already know a lot about modding cars. Mostly with tools, not money...

Partsgeek.com does the same thing. Will not buy from them 'cuz they make customers pay to return wrong items for no fault of my own.
You can try Autohausaz as they do carry Mini Cooper parts there, mostly OEM and some aftermarket. Always had great service from them. Now a lot of these Min Cooper performance part places like ECS feel they have a monopoly on the Mini parts. Unless you are buying a performance part I would not use them, even then it is better to go direct to the manufacturer or the part you need at least you know they will have the perfornance part you want. Maintenance stuff like oil filters, air filters, oil, Amazon is better to go to as if there is a problem with the order they will replace or take back. Word to the wise though, if you are wanting a part, especially performance oriented parts and you have questions call the mfg direct, they design and build the part and will have an answers for technical questions.
Had an issue with them on my first order. Placed an order for a set of Voxx wheels. Estimated shipping date was two weeks out. Ok no worries I can wait that long I guess. Well two days later I'm looking at the Order and I noticed the shipping date was now five weeks away.
When I emailed them about it they claimed the two week window was never stated. Luckily I took a screen shot of that order with the two week shipping date to show a friend.
And I'll be honest, I'm way to impatient to buy something worth that much and not have it in a few weeks at most. They let me Cancel the order and I found the same wheels two days later for $100 cheaper.
I will say this though. Every other order placed with them for plugs and coils and a scratch and dent air intake went fine.
But the guy trying to lie about the shipping date was was uncalled for from a business stand point. That screen shot saved me in that instance

I had ordered a set of rear shock mounts from ECS. When I got the boxes in, I decided to open them to make sure they were correct. One was actually a leak diagnostic pump. I called up ECS on Saturday morning and was taking care of promptly with instructions and RA# to return the part and they shipped my correct part out ASAP.
