How to change the display to default to the time.

2015 4 door S

Every time I get in the car, I always have to click options, then get down to display time. It's not a huge thing, but I was wondering if there is a way to make the display display the time is the default.

It's not clear to me what you're asking. Do you want the time displayed in the central instrument display, the instrument cluster, both? Also, the time isn't shown on the screen at all??

Again, this is really minor, basically what I want is for the time to be displayed on the console screen as a default, instead of the string of options normally displayed there. So, to put it another way, when I start the car oh, what I should say on the console is just the time.

My 2017 displays time by default in the instrument cluster. I thought that was the norm.

So you only want the time displayed? I didn’t even know that was an option, even after pushing some buttons. Maybe you can save that function as a favorite? Then at least you only need to push one button when you turn the car on.

Yes, you press the option button, scroll down and select show time. But I can't find a way to make it stick.

There is no setting to effectively keep the display off all the time. I think your best bet is to set the clock display as a favorite. At least that way it’ll only be one button press to do what you want.

That is kind of what I was thinking, but I don't see any way to set favorites

Highlight the menu item you want to save as a favorite, then push and hold one of the favorite buttons. It’ll assign that button to the menu item you chose.
