"Emerald Grey Metallic and Melting Silver Metallic body colors will no longer be available on any MINI models."

Emerald Grey was only....what, 2019 and 2020? Was it available in 2018? I do see some 2021s in EG on AutoTrader, but here MINI is saying EG is dead for 2021. Yet it does still show on the configurator for now, so it is at least a partial year 2021 color.

I thought Emerald Grey was really rare before...I still have yet to see another EG/Chili Red JCW F56. There have been EG/Black for sale at other dealers, but not EG/CR.

I thought the configurator was still "stuck" on 2020 models.

 

Just heard from my dealer. Emerald Grey can still be ordered for July production, then it is done.

 

When I was looking for my JCW, two dealers near me has emerald grey JCWs. One had a CR roof, the other a black roof. They both told me that they had a hard time selling them because of the color. I was offered 6000 off msrp.

 

Too bad, that's a great color. Would look awesome with red accents too, very WWII fighter.

 

My local dealer has three nearly identical 2-door Cooper S's on their lot, in emerald grey.

 

Emerald Grey is still on the configurator for JCW Hardtops. Anyone know if it's actually available to order still?
