Moonwalk Grey Metallic? Any photos/info?

Sorry to start another "color thread"… But I'm curious if anyone has seen photos of Moonwalk Grey Metallic? It's supposedly a March build color and is on the UK configurator. Interesting to note that it's the same price as Blazing Red Metallic in the UK, so it might be a $250 color in the US. Thanks for any additional info or photos.

I'm thinking that Moonwalk Gray will be the Volcanic Orange of the new JCW coming out.

According to the color library it doesnt go into production until the 2015 model year

Thanks, Steven.

Funny how MINI names their colors... Moonwalk Grey is silver. Dark Silver was grey. Volcanic Orange is yellow. Etc...

Moonwalk Grey might still be an interesting choice, though, especially in the Base Cooper which doesn't offer Thunder Grey.

Found this pic, hope it helps. Doesn't really look silver.

I rather like it, but with a black top.

It's a nice enough color, but not one of my favorites. I'll bet, though, it will be well received by many. I would like it best with a black top, black stripes and black side mirrors.

I like it A LOT. I'd put it in my top 5 for sure (body colored roof). That's straight up gorgeous.

I did see one on a transporter the other day heading from the factory. It looks a bit like primer to me. Not very sliver. like a light version of Thunder grey

I found it on the USA configurator last night as a choice for the Cooper. I sort of liked it, though I usually like only the bright colors.

The color kinda reminds me of the Scion tC, which I've personally seen up close. http://dealerrevs.com/car/55956575

FYI, both Blazing Red and Moonwalk Grey are semi-metallic - hence the half-off price.

Here are two nice shots of Moonwalk Grey.

(Edit: Since I already attached them in another thread it won't let me upload them here as well)

I think it would look better even without the contrasting roof and the spoiler. Think that's the way I'm gonna go tomorrow when they put my new order in.

No pics, but I sat in one at my dealer and it was absolutely gorgeous. It had a light gray leather interior.

Just click on the link in my post above. It wouldn't let me upload them to two separate threads.

Any more real life shots? I'm very interested in this color but photos of it are hard to come by!

Dealer websites are a good source for a variety of photos now that they have decent inventory levels. Found this dealer (http://www.miniofontario.com/Vehicle...visitedVD=true) with one S and three base models in Moonwalk Grey.

I am really obsessed with this color on the configurator when you add the grey and black checkered roof and mirror caps they look like a perfect match. Kind of sharp with the right level of glass tint
