Help needed with coding Driving modes with e-sys

Hi there,

I hope that some one could't help met by explaining how i can code the driving mode with esys.
I got the program. i got the est token. I have the cable and de psdzdata files.
Now i need to know how to use the program en how to add the 4VA files in the good order and code the other options to make the driving modes work using the selector ring.

Is there anyone who could help me out by explaining or a how to?

Kind regards,
Bas

Afternoon Bas

Most here have gone to bimmercode for coding. Under FAQ and in general theres a much longer and richer list of how with that option.

Quick search found this in the f60 thread - and the comments there i scanned suggested f56 and f55 e-sys is stronger so the advice should fit you
thread here;

Also try the f56 board - UK based so may be more e-sys info to pull on for you

good luck

F45/F46/F48/F55/F56 Coding Threadi propose to open One master threads to regroup the information about the coding of theses car as they have the same architecture .

i already found a coding sheat for mini :

Hi curlywurly,
First off all thanks for the reply. i Know alot use bimmercode app, i do also but it isn't enough for the things i want to do. You can activated the driving modes without the use of e-sys.
I looked true a fue pages of the links you send me, but non of them tell me how to use it. What i do know is that i need some programm called Launcher Pro 3.0 and that some guy named Tokenmaster needs to give me a license and download in order to use it. I e-mailed the guy but havn't got a reply back.

Do you know what they are talking about?

Well thanks again for you're help!

Hi, I believe you're looking for this:

As for the Launcher Pro 3.0 it is not needed for your goal, since you'll only be modifying the car's VO (Vehicle Options) code. Make sure to share some pictures once you figure it out!

Hi Alexmacnerd,
Yes I already knew that file. So you say I don't need an est token for the option I want? So read the FA, edit the SALAPA file, then add 4VA. Then save and code the ECU.

Now I just linked esys to my car and read the FA. Then I saved it. I then used the NCD / CAFD Tool program to read the file. Now that program comes with two lists. List 1 I think is the options that are on for my car. List 2 I think is the list that shows the options that I could enable for my car. The strange thing, however, is that the option was turned on by a person with esys. So he also had to add the 4VA file. However, I expected to find him here. But it does not originate in list 1, but it does in list 2. Any idea how that is possible? Because the option in my car just works without any problems.

Hopefully you have an idea or can you point me where I can get this information. Many forum have already walked by. But nothing found yet .. Thank you very much for your comment and clarifying that I may not need an est token.

hi i have been busy for a while. I found an Italian person who was willing to help me. After many conversations and try sessions, I managed to code the 4VA in the car. It is certainly not easy but finally succeeded. Thanks for the comments! Greetings Bas
