Big Pair

I was looking at the "Big Pair" for F56 base was wanting positive or negative experience on the product. Worth the 200 buck? Help under steering? Body Roll? Any advice would be great. TIA.

We've installed many sets of the chassis braces on the F56 and for as easy and affordable as they are it's worth it as you will feel the slight different in how stiff the chassis is.

We also offer a few other brands that some are more expensive and some that are actually cheaper.

Absolutely worth it ... it's an inexpensive mod that you will feel immediately.

Would you say they all work the same? Are the more expensive ones better?

Being I the market for them. I look at it as there are three options. There is less material on the chassis bone, crave speed and forge has been a long running So what's your budget? Yes they all do the same. Replace a part that worked but can be improved.

I've installed both the Craven and Chassis Bone pairs here in my shop and I think they work equally.

The both have the angles cut into them to give them strength and the CV pair curve is a little lighter but I feel they work just as well as the curved edges may give it more strength, but that is for some engineer to ponder over.

EZ install and I found it to make a significant difference in handling. The car seems for alive and rigid. I didnt realize how "loose" the car felt until i installed the Cravenspeed brackets. To me it was well worth the time effort and money. I would do it again without hesitation

In terms of an easy mod, this is that for sure. Here is the write up I did on them a while ago. - https://myredmini.com/the-big-pair/

Well ordered a set on chassis bones installing this week. Will update with my opinion of the performance of this product.

I’m sure you’ll like it. Adding the trio of Chassis Bones to my four-door F55 made an immediately noticeable difference. When you take off the factory sheet metal braces and compare them, the reason for the difference in handling is clear.

the rear (small) one especially — it literally holds the rear suspension in place side to side:

just compare...

thanks to Way for hooking me up with these. Great service as always... and I’ve never met him! Someday, maybe. 🙂

A friend is an MA at my MINI dealership. They just got in a GP3 and he took some pics of it today. Check out the factory chassis bracing. Very beefy! Unfortunately you need a VIN to order GP parts or I would already have them on order.

finely got to putting them on and get off winter wheel and tires. I didn't get to experience them with the small tires. But wow there is a difference on the curves on my route to work. Going from 15" to 17" and more tire contact this was way worth the investment.

I suspect most of what you feel is the wider, lower profile tires, not the chassis reinforcements. Regardless, glad to hear you like your changes!
