Recently ordered the big pair from CravenSpeed for my F55 and just received them. Was wondering if anyone else who ordered just received 2 large braces or if they got 2 large and a small brace?

 

I was worried about that, ended up going with way motor works version instead. Cheaper, included all three. BUT I did have a problem where I got one brace that didn't fit but they corrected that issue right away.

 

From what I understand the F56 gets two - a small and a large - while the F55 gets 3 - a small and two large.

 

That’s what I thought as well but I just received my shipment and I only got two large ones. I seem to be missing the small one that would go in the back.

 

Go send them an email. They've been more than accommodating for any issues I've had. Even milled me a custom retaining clip for my shifter due to some binding I was having.

 

Will do I’m sure they’ll be just as helpful with me.

 

Quick heads up, even though I got WMW's version, the larger braces they sent me were the same size. Not sure if this was a simple mixup with WMW or if my F55 was just an anomoly, but one of the OEM braces turned out to be slightly larger. So I would double check that of the two you have now, one is also slightly larger. Or better yet, go underneath and start installing the two if you haven't yet to make sure they fit before contacting them so you don't have to go back to Cravenspeed twice.

Hopefully my experience was just unique and one of those "it of course had to happen to me" type of things lol.

 

yeah one of my braces is actually larger than the other and I read that it’s because the brace closer to the engine uses slightly larger bolts. I believe it’s the one that takes more load than the other.

 

Thanks for understanding that mistakes can happen, I'm glad we could sort it out quickly as you can tell they are very close that if you don't have them side by side it's hard to tell. Let us know if we can help with anything else.

It was no biggie at all, you folks were super quick to get back to me and ship out the new one. Super awesome! I actually just installed it today before starting on my strut/shock replacements. Fit like a glove and looks pretty sexy under there! I'll send y'all a pic soon.
