F54 Help coding FRONT fog lights
Help coding FRONT fog lights
I bought a clubman that didn't have either the front of rear fog lights active. I bought a new switch, searched the forums and was able to activate the rear foglights. I searched different forums looking for help to code the front fog lights but couldn't find anything.
If somebody has done it, please tell me how to activate the front fog switch and the lights.
Thank you

Thank you pillpusher84, I'm using the bimmercode app, not the enet cable and my car doesn't have the LED lights. We have another Mini, so I read the settings and copy them over to my car. I do have now front and rear fogs. Thank you for your reply. I hope it helps others with LED lighting. I search FOR DAYS and couldn't find any info on the front fogs, so you may be the first to post the answer.
Camucho great to hear you were able to do this! I would also like to add fog lights to my F54 Clubman All4. Can you post the instruction for bimmercode? Also, how did you add the button for the fog lights where the lighting control is inside the car? Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!
Is this a non-S Cooper model? If so, it may not actually have fog lights. On base coopers, the "fog light" in the lower bumper is actually a daytime running light in the top section, and a blank area on the bottom. If your original switch had a dummy button for the top fog light switch, you don't have fog lights installed. I don't think there is a way to add factory fog lights there unless you have the LED option - see this thread: https://www.northamericanmotoring.com/forums/f55-f56-hatch-talk-2014/343276-add-factory-fog-lights-bumper.html
Yep, non-s
Thanks for feedback and the link to the thread! I have a non-s model :-(

I feel for you. I was bummed out when I learned I couldn't add factory front fog lights. I've been researching aux lighting options for my convertible. The factory Rally Lights are expense, and can only be used with the high beams. They look difficult to install as well.
Cravenspeed.com does offer a bracket kit to install other lighting over the front bumper similar to the factory rally lights. You could use this kit and a set of PIAA or other fog lights. The installation instructions seem very simple. At 4", PIAA 510 fog lights are just a little smaller than the factory rally lights. The grills on the PIAA are pretty bulky for my taste. They do offer plastic covers in their replacement parts section. It appears all PIAA fog lights are yellow.
Cravenspeed also offers a bracket/lighting kit, only it has driving lights and they are the larger 5" 550 series lights. I prefer the smaller 4" 510s because the housing sits about 1/2 inch above the bracket once it's bolted on. Since the light is smaller, it will have effectively the same overall height as the 4.5" factory lights (which sit flush to their bracket). The mounting base is also smaller.
