add factory fog lights (bumper)

Love my new-to-me 2014 2door F56 (non-S), had her about a month.

It's a pretty basic car and doesn't have factory fog lights, just daytime running lights....

I would like to add them but when I search for them.... I get older model minis or I get rally lights...

That's what I wanted to do first as well, but based on other threads on this and BMW forums, if you don't have factory fog lights, there is simply no connection from the controller in your dash to the bumper. If you change your controller to get the extra buttons, you can wire your rear fog light (I know, rear IS wired but not the front?).
These seem like the most cost effective option to upgrade your DRLs and parking lights to a more modern look. Yeah, they are not going to match the headlights, but maybe that's another mod later.

thanks for your response
after some research on other forums and talking with other people I kind of got that impression.

Note to self, the next many I buy will have factory fog lights

So do you mean if I get a dash switch and replace the base one with the multiple switch that I can connect up a rear fog light?
