Speedo Cluster went haywire... coded my mini a few weeks ago. Related?

Has anyone experienced the following after coding with BimmerCode:

I coded some stuff about 1-2 weeks ago and has been functioning fine all this time until this morning, I pressed the button on the left lever of steering wheel to cycle through the display to reach "distance to empty." Once I started pressing it, my left turn signal lit up on my speedo cluster, but I kept cycling. Then I noticed my RPM's and MPH speedo's started moving with each button press. I quickly realized that my turn signal stayed lit up. and my RPM and MPH are stuck at 1k and 0MPH. When I signal, I don't see or hear anything. I pulled over and tested my headlights, turn signal, and brakes. Luckily they actually work still but my cluster is just stuck at 1k, 0MPH, and left turn signal light is on the whole time. I was running late for work so I haven't been able to go back to the car yet and check if it's reset or something...

Anyone experience anything like this?

OK... Finally had a chance to go back to the car. The left turn signal light was STILL on within the speedo cluster! I was able to cycle threw with the button presses with no problems so far, RPM's worked. Didn't have a chance to drive to see if the speedometer works though (parking hard to come by). I thought I'd try to code something to see if that would help, I changed DRL's from 100 to 90% but that didn't do anything to reset or cycle anything. I'll try again later to see if I can find a setting specifically for the turn signals. Otherwise, I figure to try and completely remove the speedo cluster (is that what it's even called??) and reconnect or disconnect the battery for a while. Not sure what else I can do on my end. :(

Update: I decided to unplug and plug it back in. That did the trick, even though I lost the time and my average MPG and average speed. Not sure then if it was a random glitch with the speedo cluster or if coding the car had anything to do with it. Hopefully it doesn't happen again!
