Hi,

The F56 2 Door has the openings on the roof side for a rack mount and so far the only one available is the Yakima Q-Clips. But I want to know WHY this rack https://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-2...RoC3OkQAvD_BwE does nto work on F56 if it is literally the same thing as the Yakima Q-Clips

Any ideas?

its a combination of the total width and the actual mounting point. the ones from turner mount into the roof bases. those Q clips mount underneath the weatherstripping.

Thank you for the reply, I was also checking a video on youtube ( install video ) and the Mini one does mount under the weatherstripping but you are correct I think the F56 is wider on the roof :/

I really like that roof rack :(

 

Hello You linked the R55/R56 on.

The F56 On is here 82712327916 "For MINIs with installed roof rails" and dimensionally a little wider i believe then the older series.

just jumping in here that i have a used set of Yakima Q clips if you're interested. i'm in the NY area. used a few times but ended up getting a car to transport bigger things.
