F55/F56 Radio Volume at Startup
Radio Volume at Startup
I recall a setting that automatically lowers the radio volume at ignition startup. I shut the feature off, but now I can’t find it to turn it back on. Any help directing me to the setting is much appreciated.
Funny, Im looking for the exact opposite. I want it to be louder at startup. I think there is a BimmerCode setting you can code. I dont remember anything "stock" unless its a setting in the radio option
- You can surely code to have car start with volume the same as you left off with on shut down.
- With the menus you can set the car to get louder as you go faster, that is adjustable +-.
- Don't recall ever seeing something to lower at start up, it will automatically drop to a set point, see 1st option.
The only setting I recall is the setting that allows volume to increase as you increase speed. I routinely listen to the songs at a higher volume when I'm in the car alone than with my wife. I just remember to turn the volume down before shutting the car off when I'm parking it. That way the volume is low when wife wants to use it or if we go out together.
Just checks BimmerCode, that’s where I guess I saw it. It’s “Maximum Volume at Start-up” and you and set the % of maximum volume. GuessI was looking at coding options when I was having some programming done.
Cheers!
