Not many yet, some of the one aftermarkets had the MINI logo on the side and were aftermarket. So they might be confiscated if anyone brought them through customs.

We are working on a direct relationship with the manufacturer for MINI to get some aftermarket ones. We will let you know when we get some options. Right now we have some people buying the factory LED ones and trying to code/ wire them to work.

 

I do really like the factory LEDs you're referring to. I'm just skeptical about buying them, as I don't want them to arrive just for me to not be able to get them to work. But yes, DO keep me updated! Thanks

I have the 2.0 under the hood and have read that people aren't able to fit these BOV's to their car due to the fact that it has a diverter valve rather than a blow off valve. Just trying to get more sound out of my turbo.

Thats for the N18 engine Gen 2 MINIs. No BOV for the Gen 3 MINIs, which you have. Some people were trying to mod one like an HKS type add on to the tube but i don't think anyone ever went through with it. You get more sound with an intake like the gruppe M or the eventrui one.

That one is so sick! A little out of my price range though unfortunately. I was looking at the AWE S-Flo intake. The sound isn't as enhanced as the Eventuri, but still very nice with that enhanced turbo sound I'm looking for. Thanks for your help!

There are a couple Chinese companies that make aftermarket headlights for the f56. They claim plug and play for halogen equipped cars.

Yep, those are marked "MINI" on them, once customs see those actually come through they will confiscate them. BMW group knows this is an issue. I have talked to them. Those guys selling on ebay are taking a huge risk on fines. Not being mean or anything just giving MINI people a heads up.

 

The replica game is always a roll of the dice. It really comes down to how they complete the customs papers to skirt past inspection. There is something they are doing on the papers to flag an agent to inspect the contents of the box.

 

Yep, they can do that. But the customs randomly open stuff from time to time. Wish I had a solution right now, I will post up as soon as we have an option.

Really? I love the Union Jack tails a lot. This is my first euro car, I'm usually a JDM dude.

 

We have the Genuine European and OLSA Genuine ones here (MINI OEM supplier) the Euro UJ can flash amber on the turn signal vs the US ones. Then we have the Euro LED NON UJ ones. So you have some options, we are working on getting more of the euro ones in but they have been selling out as soon as they land. Yes they are all Genuine MINI.

I was thinking of swapping my taillights with those Genuine LED ones but my 16' Cooper S didn't come with LED headlights/taillights.
If I remember it correctly, the LED taillight connectors have 6 wires while the non-LED ones have only got 5 wires.
So I don't think it would be an easy retrofit if I decide to go that route.

 

Yep, need to be led to led, I know some people made a harness to convert the non led to led. If find the thread i will post up.

 

Yeah mine didn't' come LED either unfortunately. But those black and red Union Jack lights are calling my name! Those are able to be installed on the non LED F56?

yeah. those companies most probably used the same design to produce the tail lights..

 

Yea, its hard to tell what will actually show up Might just be an actual union jack flag wrapped around some taillights.

I know we had been offered some headlights from a distributor with the MINI logo or very close to it "NIMI", that were not genuine MINI or from the original supplier, but since we are friends with MINI USA (known them for years) and MINI corporate we don't want to carry those as they are very close to trademark violations. If we find some other we will let you know.
