We are a direct dealer for Remus and they have never said anything about the V2. They just have the latest systems which we have been using and installing and they have been great. But on the F56 we just use the Race system on all of them.

Maybe people are confused between the homologation approved version and the non-approved version? The link in your reply is the homologation version, I think. BTW, do you know if I can adjust the openness of the valve manually if without the sound controller? I saw somewhere one guy mentioned there is a screw that can be used to control that.

Then how about the first one vs the following one? Why the first one has two tubes and shape of the axle-back part is diffalso different

It is confusing, but I went with the one WMW recommends (https://www.waymotorworks.com/remus-...-cooper-s.html). and have not been disappointed at all. I was concerned about noise and drone, and after a 8,800 mile cross country trip I could not be happier.. It's a little loud on start-up, but settles in very nicely. Sounds great on acceleration, pops and bangs a lot on deceleration (way fun) and, get this, no drone on the highway at all. If anything, it's quieter than the stock JCW exhaust at cruise.
Based on my experience that includes a lot of road miles and back roads, I highly recommend it. Given that I am relatively mature (67), you can rest assured that it is a high quality system that sounds great while not being intrusive. FYI ... I have run it 100% open since I got it. It's that much fun and sounds that good.
