F55/F56 Squeaky clutch pedal
Squeaky clutch pedal
Manual trans. I'm getting a squeaking sound when depressing the clutch pedal and then when letting it up. The sound seems to be coming from up under the dash where the clutch pedal arm goes. I couldn't see any places to lubricate.
Ideas?

I just went through this with my 2014 MCS. The squeak was intermittent, but seemed to happen more when the car was warmed up. Annoying as hell. When I had the car in the dealership, I mentioned it and they lubricated it. The squeak came back soon after. The next time, they said they did some other "fixes" that may or may not be related to a TSB (Sorry, don't really recall). Finally, my clutch slave cylinder gave out. It isn't clear if there was any causal relationship, but when they replaced the slave cylinder, the dealership also replaced the clutch pedal assembly at their cost. I guess they were tired of chasing down the root cause of the squeak.
There are other threads on NAM that discuss this. Some have videos that clearly capture that annoying sound.
Good luck!
