F56 Clutch Stop

Has anyone tried replacing the clutch stop in an F56? I ordered this from Bimmerworld and was excited to install it, thinking it went on my new F56. Instead, the fit was poor and so its going in my R56.

Has anyone else felt like they could use a slightly shorter clutch travel in an F56?

That is what I am currently using, and it works very well. There is a thread that says to cut about a third off. Remove the stock clutch stop grommet, and drill a hole though it only big enough to get the new clutch stop piece through it. By using the stock piece, the new clutch stop will have a secure fit.

That is exactly what I did with mine. Works like a champ.

Like those before me, that’s what I have but I didn’t have to cut anything, I just pressed it right in and its been fine for almost 2 years. No cutting involved

Great guys. Thanks for the renewed confidence. I think I'll have to drill it out, we'll see. But good to know it does still work in the F56!
