F55/F56 The Evil MINI
The Evil MINI
Only mods are JCW tuning kit and Dinan Elite. Can't say enough good about the car. Have had it for about 18 months and enjoy more every time I drive it.

got the tuning kit first and the the Dinan sport. Having never grown ip I decided I needed more power and upgraded to the elite.
I really don't know. I think the tuning kit adds about 11hp and the elite about 30 to 35. I've read some articles that say the hp from the elite and the hp from the tuning kit don't compound. I don't know the hp but the car is amazingly quick. Mini excitement gauge suggests that it's about 240 hp.

241whp and 287WT is better than the JCW tune and better than a full-on JCW car. Whether the numbers from the JCW tune stack w/ the Dinan Elite isn't clear.
Have not seen dyno numbers posted for a MCS w/ the JCW tune and the Dinan elite posted anywhere.
One could argue that the Dinan numbers simply stack w/ whatever is being produced by the engine (tuned or untuned). Only way to know for sure would be to contact Dinan directly and ask the question.
Since Dinan tunes are not built to provide bleeding edge performance, adding it to a JCW tuned car would likely keep it within operating limits and not throw codes. I believe BMW uses the same motor in the 7 series and tunes it for close to 260 HP w/o an issue.
Strictly speculating here, but plenty of members have the JCW tune and add aftermarket power modules. Depending on the setting they use, both seem to work fine together. It's only when the set the tuner to the highest setting or program it for the highest output do some codes start to pop up.
