I've noticed that there are some bangs that are coming up from the front end of the car ( 2015 MCS ) during times when the front end is traversing ramps into parking lots and occasionally a "skip" of the car while on the highway when changing lanes.

I pulled the wheels off and attempted to see if there was anything that really stood out, and I came across this here:


This is on both sides which makes me think that the bushings are possibly shot as I cant see why there would be this much movement coming from this point...

Being new to Mini, is this "how" its supposed to be or should I see about speaking with the dealer being that I'm almost out of warranty ( 34k miles )

 

I had it taken care of under warranty. Pretty common problem on these cars. Lower control arm bushings, several threads on here about it.

Now I just have to decide which dealer to take it to. They're both 4 hours either east ( Denver ) or West to Salt Lake City.
