a/c system - which o-ring is the culprit?

I suspect that one of the o-rings in my a/c system has a slight leak. I will be doing the dye test, but seek the collective wisdom of the board: is there one connection that more than any of the others is likely to fail? My car has no recent trauma, so a punctured condensor is not likely.

Having just spoken last night with a mini tech, and that subject came up. He said the o-rings are not known to leak, so while it can happen, based on his input, it probably is something else.

(someone was working a a MB and needed an o-ring so he mentioned those brown ones mini uses are really good.)
