F55/F56 Display info on larger 8.8 screen
Display info on larger 8.8 screen
Okay, so i turned brightness up all the way.
When playing music from a USB drive, info displayed show the artist info dimmer than the song title below. Is this normal? Drives me crazy as I cannot glance and see the artist since it's too dim to read during the day, yet the brighter song title is easily readable.
Is the ssomething BMW/Mini did on purpose or am I experiencing as back-light problem?
It's been like this since new and has always pissed me off. Corvette and BMW LED info is easily read at a glance, the Mini, not so much.
The Navigation info on the split screen is displayed in white and easily read also.

Thanks.
Even if Mini chose white lettering it would be better, but many say the orange is for night driving. Bah! My 2017 M204i (and Corvette) have a display that displays white lettering and my night vision is not impaired.
Thinking this is just a "novelty" choice by the engineers who have never driven the car in direct sunlight.
I probably wouldn't ***** about it of they at least used the same higher intensity light across the display.
