Alice II is lovely indeed. Congratulations. Did Nick Alexander treat you right on the deal?

Thank you.

This is the 21st century!!
Of course, I dictated the sale terms over the phone Friday afternoon with the "Internet Manager"
Emailed in my Mini Finance app.
He called back 1 hour later.

Showed up this morning.
Car was detailed and ready.
Drove a few miles to make sure all was good, saw the F&I manager,
All the paperwork was printed out when I got there.
She was warned not to upsell me. Signed, and left!!
20 minutes in and out.

So this Dinan you have, is it as good as the JB+ that I had for the R56?

Sounds like you did it painlessly.

This Dinan I have.... read Power Up in the 3rd gen JCW section for more than you want to know. JB has a great unit for 3rd gen cars -- lots of bells and whistles and all of the JB support.

I went for the Dinan because I'm old and it's simple and it has blue tooth connectivity and only messes with a single input. And the 3 ~ 4 extra psi boost is plenty for me, especially in the lower rev range.

I would say I have battle tested the Dinan -- up over the Grapevine to 99 through Fresno then into high elevations on winding roads to Yosemite in the summer heat. Car purred and the Dinan did it's thing with the car in Sport mode for most of the trip. NM has a great box too.

Whichever one you get.... get one and grin.

Oh, BTW TVPostSound, next to the Dinan, ditching the run flats has worked well for me -- changed the ride in many good ways. But I have a spare.

Im an old fart too, Dinan has just been ordered, along with a Craven Speed Garmin GPS mount.
I don't like factory GPS units, I can't even use the on in my Lexus, designed by lab coats. The reason this F56 sat on the lot is lack of Nav, and its an auto.
Sat on the lot 5 months, made for a fantastic deal!!
Sitting in stop and go traffic (170/101) 1 hour one way everyday, no manual anymore for me.

Best thing I did on the R56 (RIP) was ditch runflats too!! Spare for sale, as the F56 has 5 lugs.
But this F56 doesn't even come with a jack?? Only a tow hook.

I'd have tried to talk you into a Clubman S All4 -- different beast and many true MINI fans don't think the F-series Clubby is a real MINI. It's my stealth Bimmer and we're lovin' it. Your car is pretty. And very safe, should it ever.... oh, that can't possibly happen twice in La-la land, can it??

Warning, though installation is simple, it can draw blood and the gray locking pin for the TMAP plug can fly out and disappear forever, which is no biggie.

Long-nosed needle nose is helpful in aligning the plug.

Here's how I did mine:
